Two kinds of property, two kinds of job
On the west end near Harris Hill you get large modern homes with three-car garages, finished lower levels and long driveways. Those cleanouts are high-volume but straightforward — good access, room to work, and usually a lot more coming out than the owner expected.
Head east toward Clarence Hollow and Rapids and it changes character entirely. Old farmhouses, barns, machine sheds and outbuildings that have been absorbing whatever needed a home for three or four generations. Those are our favorite jobs and our most misjudged ones — a barn loft holds far more than it looks like from the door.
Barns and outbuildings
Barn cleanouts need a straight conversation before we quote. There's often old lumber, scrap metal, farm implements, feed bags, tires and furniture layered in over decades, plus a floor you can't fully see. We'll walk it with you first. Two things we'll flag on sight: any suspected asbestos in old insulation or siding, and any drums or containers of unknown liquid. We can't take either, and we'll tell you who can.
Long driveways and rural access
Plenty of Clarence properties sit a few hundred feet off the road down a gravel or dirt drive. That's fine in most conditions, but after a thaw or a heavy rain a loaded truck can sink, so we'll assess the drive before we commit to backing down it. In winter, we need it plowed to get in.

One thing we can't take
We do not remove hazardous waste or chemicals — no paint, solvents, motor oil, gasoline, pesticides, pool chemicals, asbestos, propane tanks, or medical waste. That material is regulated and has to go through a licensed hazardous-waste channel. If you're not sure what something is, call and describe it and we'll point you toward the right drop-off.
