Lots with room to accumulate
Grand Island properties are generally larger than anything on the mainland side, and the extra room shows up as sheds, pole barns, detached garages, and things parked around the back of the lot that haven't moved in years. Above-ground pools, boat trailers, playsets, patio furniture and dock hardware are all common here in a way they aren't in a Kenmore backyard.
That makes outdoor teardown a bigger share of our island work — sheds, decks, pools and hot tubs that a few Niagara River winters have finished off. We tear them down and take the debris with us; you don't have to demolish anything before we get there.
Waterfront and seasonal properties
Riverfront homes along East and West River Road bring their own version of the job: old dock sections, boat covers, seasonal furniture, and the garage or boathouse that stores all of it. Seasonal and second-home owners often need work done while they're away, which we can arrange — we'll coordinate access and send photos before and after.
Bridge access and scheduling
Everything on and off the island crosses the I-190 bridges, and traffic backs up there predictably in summer and around holidays. It doesn't change our pricing, but it does mean we like to give island jobs a realistic arrival window rather than a hopeful one. If you need a tight window, book early in the day.

One thing we can't take
We do not remove hazardous waste or chemicals — no paint, solvents, motor oil, gasoline, pesticides, pool chemicals, asbestos, propane tanks, or medical waste. That material is regulated and has to go through a licensed hazardous-waste channel. If you're not sure what something is, call and describe it and we'll point you toward the right drop-off. What it costs in Grand Island
Same pricing everywhere we work: you pay for the volume your load takes up in the truck, not by the hour, by the item or by the mile. There is no travel surcharge for Grand Island. We come out, look at the job, and give you a firm number before we lift anything — and the estimate is free whether you go ahead or not. Licensed and insured, quality work at reasonable prices.
