Why crews call instead of renting a box
A dumpster makes sense when a job runs for weeks and there's somewhere to put it. On a lot of Buffalo work, neither is true. City lots are narrow, driveways are shared, street placement means a permit, and the container sits there collecting the neighbor's mattress at night. For a one-day tear-out or a kitchen gut, a crew that shows up, loads by hand and drives away is usually faster and often cheaper — and nobody has to load it but us.
We can come mid-project, work around other trades on site, and make more than one trip in a day if the volume calls for it. Call the morning of if the pile got away from you.

Heavy material: concrete, brick, dirt and shingles
Dense material is the one exception to volume pricing. Concrete, brick, block, stone, dirt and roofing tear-off weigh far more per cubic foot than household debris, and disposal facilities charge by the ton for them. A truck can hit its legal weight limit long before the bed is full. We'll still take it — just tell us when you call roughly how much there is, because those loads price on weight and often need to be split across trips. Surprises on weight are the fastest way to blow up a quote, so we'd rather know up front.
What we won't take off a jobsite
We do not remove hazardous waste or chemicals. On construction jobs that specifically means no leftover paint, stain, solvent, adhesive or thinner, no asbestos-containing material of any kind, and no drums of unknown liquid. Older Buffalo housing stock turns up suspect material regularly — pipe wrap, old floor tile, boiler insulation. If you or your crew suspect asbestos, stop and get an abatement contractor. We'd rather lose the job than move that material in an open truck.
Pricing for contractors
Volume-based, quoted before we load, and free to have us come look. If you're running multiple projects across Erie County we can set up recurring pickups and invoice rather than collecting on site. Quality work at reasonable prices — and we show up in the window we told you.
What we can't take on this job
We do not remove hazardous waste or chemicals — no paint, solvents, motor oil, gasoline, pesticides, pool chemicals, asbestos, propane tanks, or medical waste. That material is regulated and has to go through a licensed hazardous-waste channel. If you're not sure what something is, call and describe it and we'll point you to the right drop-off.
