Business jobs have constraints residential jobs don't
A house doesn't have a loading dock schedule, a building manager who needs paperwork three days in advance, a freight elevator you can only book between six and eight, or customers walking past the pile. Commercial work is less about lifting and more about not disrupting anything — which means the crew has to be insured, documented, and willing to work when your floor is closed.
We handle that side of it. Certificate of insurance before the job, arrival in the window we agreed to, and a crew that knows to keep a fire lane clear and a corridor passable while they work.
Commercial work we do
- Office clearouts, downsizes and relocations
- Cubicle and workstation teardown and removal
- Desks, conference tables, filing cabinets and task chairs
- Retail fixtures, gondolas, shelving and displays
- Restaurant and bar equipment, tables and booths
- Warehouse racking, pallets, totes and overstock
- Property management turnovers and common-area clearouts
- Construction and fit-out debris (see construction debris removal)
- Electronics, monitors, printers, copiers and server gear
Certificate of insurance and building requirements
We're licensed and insured, and we can provide a certificate of insurance naming the building or management company as required. Most downtown Buffalo office buildings and managed properties want one on file before a vendor crew comes through the door, and the request usually takes a day or two to process. Ask for it when you book rather than the morning of, and the job runs on schedule.
Electronics and anything with data on it
Old computers, servers, copiers and network gear leave your building with data still on them unless someone deals with that. We route e-waste to certified electronics recyclers, but be clear about this: we are a hauling company, not a data destruction vendor, and we don't issue certificates of destruction. If your drives hold customer records, financial data or anything under a compliance obligation, pull and destroy them before we load, or hire a certified ITAD provider. We'll happily take the empty hardware after.
After hours, weekends, and recurring service
Retail and restaurant work usually happens after close. Office work usually happens on a weekend or an evening. Both are normal for us — tell us your window when you book. For property managers and businesses with steady volume, we can set up a recurring pickup schedule and invoice monthly rather than settling up each time.
What we won't take from a commercial site
We do not remove hazardous waste or chemicals. For businesses that specifically means no cleaning chemical stock, solvents, industrial lubricants, laboratory or medical waste, sharps, fluorescent tube ballasts containing PCBs, or unlabeled drums. Commercial hazardous waste has its own regulated disposal stream and your business is the generator of record — get a licensed hazardous waste contractor for that portion.
What we can't take on this job
We do not remove hazardous waste or chemicals — no paint, solvents, motor oil, gasoline, pesticides, pool chemicals, asbestos, propane tanks, or medical waste. That material is regulated and has to go through a licensed hazardous-waste channel. If you're not sure what something is, call and describe it and we'll point you to the right drop-off.
