Furniture removal in Buffalo, NY

Couches that won't go back up the stairs, mattresses the trash crew leaves at the curb, a dining set nobody in the family wants. We carry it out ourselves and haul it off the same day.

Licensed & Insured Quality Work Reasonable Prices Free Estimates Locally Operated

You point. We carry.

Furniture is heavy, awkward, and almost always upstairs or downstairs from where it needs to end up. A lot of Buffalo housing stock is a hundred years old, with narrow staircases, tight landings and doorframes that were never sized for a modern sectional. That's our problem, not yours. You don't have to drag anything to the curb, take the legs off, or wrestle a box spring around a corner.

We bring the crew, the dollies, the straps and the tools. If a piece has to come apart to get through a door, we take it apart. If a banister is in the way, we pad it. When we're done, the room is empty and swept, and there's nothing sitting on your tree lawn waiting for a pickup day that may never come.

  • Dressers, armoires, wardrobes and nightstands
  • Dining tables, chairs, hutches and china cabinets
  • Desks, filing cabinets and office chairs
  • Bookcases, entertainment centers and TV stands
  • Patio and porch furniture

Where your furniture actually goes

Anything still in usable shape gets offered to a local donation outlet before it gets anywhere near a landfill. Solid wood, metal frames and box spring frames get pulled apart for scrap and recycling. What's genuinely finished — water-damaged, mold-spotted, broken through — goes to disposal. We'll tell you honestly which pile your piece falls into. If you'd like a donation receipt for the items that qualify, say so when we're loading and we'll arrange it.

What furniture removal costs

You're charged for the room your load takes up in the truck, not by the hour and not by the piece. A single mattress is a small job at a small price. A three-bedroom worth of furniture fills a truck and prices accordingly. Either way, we look at it first and give you a firm number before anything moves. Free estimate, no obligation, and the quote holds unless the job turns out to be bigger than what you showed us — in which case we stop and talk to you before we continue.

What we can't take on this job

We do not remove hazardous waste or chemicals — no paint, solvents, motor oil, gasoline, pesticides, pool chemicals, asbestos, propane tanks, or medical waste. That material is regulated and has to go through a licensed hazardous-waste channel. If you're not sure what something is, call and describe it and we'll point you to the right drop-off. See the full list.

Where we work

We serve Buffalo, the Northtowns and southern Niagara County, which covers Buffalo, Kenmore, Tonawanda, Amherst, Williamsville, Clarence, Grand Island, Cheektowaga, North Tonawanda, Wheatfield, Pendleton and the Town of Niagara, plus the eastern and southern Erie County towns of Depew, Lancaster, Sloan, West Seneca, Elma, Lackawanna, Blasdell, Hamburg and Orchard Park. Full list on our service areas page. Just past the line? Call anyway — if the job makes sense we'll come, and if it doesn't we'll tell you rather than waste your afternoon.

Questions

Straight answers before you call.

Do I have to move the furniture outside first?

No. That's the whole point of hiring us. We come in and carry it out from wherever it sits — second floor, finished basement, back bedroom. You just show us which pieces are going.

Will you take a mattress?

Yes. Mattresses are one of the most common calls we get, partly because they're awkward to move and partly because curbside pickup often won't touch them. We wrap it, carry it out, and route it to a mattress recycler where one is available.

My sectional won't fit down the stairs. Now what?

It came up somehow, so it can come down. We disassemble furniture as part of the job — legs, backs, arms, frame joints. In rare cases where a piece was assembled inside the room and genuinely can't come apart cleanly, we'll tell you before we start and give you the options.

Can you take furniture with bed bugs, mold or heavy staining?

Usually yes, but tell us up front. We bag and seal infested or contaminated items before they leave the room so nothing spreads through the rest of your house or into our truck. Those pieces go straight to disposal rather than donation, and pricing may reflect the extra handling.
