Old housing, old outbuildings
North Tonawanda grew up as a lumber and manufacturing town on the canal, and the housing reflects that era — narrow lots, two-story frame homes close together, and a surprising number of carriage houses and old garages tucked at the back of the property. Those outbuildings are usually the ones that need emptying, and they're often full of things three owners ago left behind.
Basements here can be tight, with steep stairs and low overhead, and attics are frequently full and reached by a back stair. It's closer to working in the city of Buffalo than working in a Wheatfield subdivision, and we come prepared for it.
Rehabs downtown and on Webster Street
The stretch through downtown and along Webster Street has seen a lot of renovation work, and renovation means debris — plaster and lath, old flooring, cabinets, windows and trim. We'll come mid-project and haul it off the same day rather than leaving a container parked on a narrow street. On tight downtown blocks that's usually the more practical option anyway.

We do not remove hazardous waste or chemicals — no paint, solvents, motor oil, gasoline, pesticides, pool chemicals, asbestos, propane tanks, or medical waste.
